Columbus Titanium

Specific strength indicates the material's strength relative to its density. Compared to steels, titanium has a density that is 40% lower. Columbus Hyperion represents the material with the highest specific strength in the bike industry. 15-20% lighter than steel frame but with equivalent stiffness. 40% greater UTS compared to aluminum and equivalent UTS to the most performing steel alloys. Greater corrosion resistance relative to other materials, improving frame life and reliability.
